SOUL BMX MAGAZINE CONCLUSION
The legendary French BMX magazine stopped publishing 2 years ago and In order to end on a positive note and leave a lasting mark, former editor Ben Bello went on the road to meet the characters that made this journey so special, and put together this extended hard-back book to complete Soul's 20 year-long story.
From famous French riders like Alex Valentino, Joris Coulomb, Maxime Charveron to the amateurs and friends who all shared a piece of the BMX culture, the book mixes BMX history contemporary topics and stories of the people they met on the road.
Half of the book is composed of some of the best colour archive photogrpaphy from Hadrien Picard and Vincent Perraud (amongst others) and the other half comes from Ben Bello’s black and white photos from those final trips: 10,000kms in the old Volvo, 50 days of documenting the spirit and culture of BMX and beyond .
As a result of a successful preorder campaign, the book grew from the initially planned 250 pages to more than 360 pages and more than 2 kg in weight.
